Good news! Applications are open for BASF Forward AM’s new 3D printing startup contest.

Do you want to accelerate the growth of your startup? Join the great contest, hosted by Forward AM, for startups using Additive Manufacturing! Sculpteo is happy to be one of the sponsors, and Clément Moreau, CEO of Sculpteo, will also be part of the executive jury of this contest.

Who should apply to this contest & why?

This contest is an incredible opportunity to develop your additive manufacturing project. The  contest is designed to accelerate the growth of startups that innovate with Additive Manufacturing.

The contest is open to all startups using additive manufacturing. If your startup is less than 5 years old, employs less than 50 people, and uses additive manufacturing, the contest is made for you. Spin-offs from universities and medium-size companies are eligible as well.

Do you have an idea to develop automotive parts, medical implants, fashion projects, industrial tooling and molding, architecture innovations, shoes, or anything else? Your startup can be part of any industry; the goal here is to support startups and entrepreneurs coming up with unique, scalable, and sustainable ideas for products that utilize 3D printing.

If you have an innovative idea for a product that would benefit from switching to additive manufacturing? Then it might be the moment to apply!

What could you win?

Here is the most important part of this contest: The winner will receive 100,000 € in goods and services. But each finalist will also receive 20,000€ in goods and services to get ready for the final, as well as 2 months of coaching and marketing exposure!

There are three different prizes: 80,000€ Grand Prize in goods and services for the best Additive Manufacturing application, 10,000€ in cash for the best sustainable 3D printing application, 15,000€ in goods and services for the People’s Award.

The contest is sponsored by an outstanding team of industry leaders: AMPOWER, AMT, Autodesk, HP, Photocentric, Sculpteo, and Ultimaker. AM Ventures, BASF Venture Capital GmbH, Deloitte, and Women in 3D Printing will also support. Alongside Forward AM they will select the startups, provide expert coaching sessions, and grant the winners access to their catalog of products and services for a total of 185,000€. The winner will also have the opportunity to meet the venture capitalists of AM Ventures and BASF Venture Capital GmbH in a dedicated personal session.
