3D Printing your Ugly Sweater!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year… Because it’s the time for ugly sweater parties! Have you ever thought of putting together a business based solely off of 3D-printed objects? Well, it’s possible and extremely easy with Sculpteo’s services, and UglyAddOns is here to prove it!

UglyAddOns.com, the world’s premier store for 3D printed objects to add to an ugly sweater is here and fully powered through Sculpteo.

There are multiple ways to implement an online store using Sculpteo’s viewer onto your site. UglyAddOns utilizes a click-able 3D viewer, which redirects to a popup printing store. From there, customers are able to customize and purchase the item, without ever having to leave the site.

The customization options are exactly the same as one would find on the Sculpteo website – that means 7 material choices and 60+ finishing options all at the whim of the customer (or in this case the sweater aficionado). Even our new Brass material is available for customers looking for a bit more sheen to their models.

But the pop-up payment system is just one way to use implement your 3D designs into your online store. Store owners are also able to implement a 3D gallery. With a 3D gallery, customers are able to quickly view all of the designs that a store owner has for sale and quickly choose that grooves with their fancy.

A final option for online store owners is to open a 3D store directly on the Sculpteo website. They are then able to link pictures or text directly to that store, from which customers are able to make a purchase.

We’re proud to be partnered with the UglyAddOn team, and some of the Sculpteo team has even had the courage to don some of their brilliant designs.

For more photos, check out our Facebook page or go directly to the UglyAddOns site. There you can check out all the pictures, or even get an UglyAddOn for yourself!

Happy Holidays from everyone here at Sculpteo.
